Do you ever feel fed up trying to please everyone?

Putting everyone before you, answering to their beck and call, going out of your way to try and make them happy..

What i’ve come to realise from my own experience, is that, you cannot make others happy. You can make them feel good, you can meet their needs, but happiness has to come from within, it is the own persons ‘choice’ to be happy. That is why it can feel like, no matter how much you do for someone, it’ll never be enough.

What i’ve learned so far, reflecting over my journey as a teacher/ healer, is that not everyone is ready to accept help. People are so used to carrying the weight on their shoulders, or putting on a brave face, so much pain, anguish, heart break, it’s easier to carry on feeling that pain, rather than facing it head on.

As the saying goes, “You can take a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink”
and, “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear”

If you can make the decision in your life, that it is ‘her time’ or ‘his time’ referring to your own self. Then let this be an invitation to you, that every single morning, Monday through to Friday, I promise to commit myself, to be available to each and every one of you, through a live video on facebook, so that you can spend a few minutes, just in quietness, just focusing on your breathing.

To help you learn a tool to reconnect with yourself, to drown out the background noise of overwhelming thoughts that race at 100mph, to let go of all of life’s worries and stresses and to disconnect to material possessions. A tool that quite frankly, has changed my inside world, helps me to keep my cool, helps to ground me in situations when my blood boils, helps to just let things go over my head, which before would stay rent free in my mind.

Meditation is medication, in order for it to work, once prescribed, it has to be consumed.

If you are an experienced meditator, or if you’ve never meditated before, if you don’t know how to meditate, or you can’t sit still, or you find it hard to relax on your own, or you don’t have time, or you don’t have space, or any other excuse you may find, decide instead, to find a way, not find an excuse..

..If you have made the decision, to make time for ‘me time’
